What is Canvas and how do I use it (for faculty)?
Canvas is the Course Management System used by Wayne State University to support both in-person and online courses.
Faculty can make their course syllabus, assignments, course materials and quizzes and tests in Canvas.
To get to Canvas, go to canvas.wayne.edu. You will need to log in with your WSU AccessID and Password (the same one you use for Academica)
The Office for Teaching and Learning provides workshops and consultations for Canvas. You can register for workshops on Academica. If you’d like to schedule a consultation, call or email the OTL at 313-577-0001 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
