Answer

Blackboard is the Course Management System used by Wayne State University to support both in-person and online courses.

Faculty can make their course syllabus, assignments, course materials and quizzes and tests in Blackboard.

To get to Blackboard, go to blackboard.wayne.edu. You will need to log in with your WSU AccessID and Password (the same one you use for Academica)

Firefox or Google Chrome are the preferred browsers for Blackboard. You can download a copy free: Firefox Browser Download or Google Chrome Download

The Office for Teaching and Learning provides a full complement of Blackboard support and training resources. Click here to access the Blackboard Support Page. You also find resources, guides, videos and more once you have logged into Blackboard. When you have logged into Blackboard, look for Faculty Resources at the top of the screen. Click Faculty Resources to find more resources on using Blackboard and its functions.
