While the library is operating under pandemic restrictions, microfilm may still be access and used by following these steps:

  1. Request the microfilm via the request button on the catalog page or by emailing circulation@lists.wayne.edu with the items being requested.

  2. When items are available, they will be available for pickup from the Undergraduate Library hold shelf.

  3. Book a reservation for the microfilm viewing room (UGL 2325) using this link: https://wayne.libcal.com/reserve/microfilm/

  4. Complete the daily screener on days you wish to come to campus and use the hardware.

  5. Visit the Undergraduate Library and swipe your OneCard at the East entrance of the building.

  6. Show your confirmation of reservation of the daily screener and reservation to the front desk staff.

  7. Check out the key from the desk using your OneCard.

  8. Staff will direct you to the room which is located on the second floor.

  9. After you've completed your research, return the microfilm and the key to the service desk.
