The Purdy/Kresge Library has the complete run of both the Detroit News and Detroit Free Press newspapers on microfilm.

In addition, we have a digital editions of the Detroit Free Press in four databases. Full-page images are available for the years 1831 to 1922 and 1923 to 1999 in two databases, 2008-3 months ago in a full-image database, and finally a full-text database covers 1999-present.
