The Wayne State University Library System welcomes donations in the form of financial contributions supporting the University Libraries, the Shiffman Medical Library, the Neef Law Library, and the School of Information Sciences (SIS).

Please do not bring unsolicited materials to the library.

Due to critical space limitations, the Wayne State University Libraries rarely accepts donations of books or journals to the collection.

If you would like to speak with someone regarding a book donation, potential donors should contact the Subject Specialist Librarian of your subject to discuss options. Liaisons are not authorized to accept donations of books without the approval of a director and the Dean.

For more information about gift donation, please visit our Gift Guidelines for Potential Donors page.
