1. Refer to the Research Guide for your subject area for guidance on the best journals and databases to use for a particular topic or discipline, and for tips on effective use of each resource. You can also view this brief video tutorial on how to use the Research Guides.


2. The Articles & Databases tab on the Library System homepage lists databases by subject area, and provides “Best Bets” in each subject area that are often a good starting point for finding relevant articles.


3. Contact a Subject Specialist Librarian for a 1-on-1 consultation by phone or email using the staff directory. Use the "title & liaison for" to search for the proper liaison for your topic. You can also request to make an appointment using the linked consultation form.
