Q. Respondus LockDown Browser

Respondus Lockdown Browser is a downloadable app that can be used through Canvas to prevent students from browsing on their computer while taking an exam on that computer. 

Many instructors require students to use Respondus Lockdown Browser while taking online exams.

Student computers in the UGL and Purdy/Kresge have Respondus Lockdown Browser.

Canvas has a "STUDENTS: Introduction to Canvas" training course that will allow a student to take a practice quiz with the Respondus prior to any tests or quizzes in their for credit classes.
