How can I put a book on reserve for my class?

Answer

Course Reserves are materials set aside for a specific course. Items are put on course reserve by library staff at the request of the course's instructor. Course reserve items are generally library use only and generally can only be checked out for a few hours at a time.

Faculty must request an item to be placed on reserves. They can do that by filling out a reserve request form, linked on the Course Reserves Guide below.

Students looking for a course reserve item can search by title, by author, or by course or instructor name, in the catalog to determine the location of the reserve item. When they have determined the location of the item, they can take the call number to the library service desk to access the item.
