When do new students have access to licensed library resources?

Answer

Historically, students gain remote access 24 hours after becoming a student (registering for classes). For elibrary access (an account in Sierra, placing holds, checking out items) access can take up to one week we only receive one patron update file per week.

If a student leaves voluntarily (graduates, transfers) they can stay in the system for up to 18 months with remote access to library resources, but that is not always the case, and access could end sooner.
