Ed.D. Status and Library Access

How does an EdD (Ed.D.) student maintain access to library resources?

Answer

EdD students in the College of Education are required to enroll in Candidate Maintenance Status course in order to maintain access to library resources. Doctoral students are required to register if they are using University resources during a semester. Candidate Maintenance Status (ED 9995) registration is available if a student has not completed the dissertation and the defense by the end of dissertation registration (20 semester hours of ED 9989). Page 13

If circumstances preclude the student from enrolling in the course, the Advisor may request temporary access by completing the following:

Reactivation of Access ID https://csm.wayne.edu/CherwellPortal/IT?Locale=en-US&_=375b6acb

After notification of reactivation of Access ID, the Advisor will submit the following form on the student's behalf to request Remote Access to Library Resources https://library.wayne.edu/forms/remote_access.php
